Up neXt: Gerry talks with Megan Holte @ Hilton

Hilton is a CareerXroads Member

In this episode of Up Next, a podcast series designed to put a face on new CXR members and welcome Talent Acquisition leaders joining the CareerXroads’ community, Megan Holte helps us understand what attracted her two years ago as a Talent Acquisition Leader at Hilton, what keeps her challenged and much more.

Megan has worked for some great companies in the past (ADP, Microsoft and Buffalo Wild Wings to name just three) and was especially taken by Hilton’s values. In 2018 what she is most aware of is the growing number of devices that collect data – the internet of things, and the challenge of how we use it well to differentiate the service we provide ‘guests’ and ‘candidates’.  Innovation is key, understanding who we need, how to engage with them, and focusing on what they need to excel in a work environment are all things that she and her teams work towards every day.

Outside of work, one of the ways Megan gives back is through her involvement in Safe Families, an organization that helps support children and their families that similar to foster care but on a more limited, non-governmental basis.

Welcome, Megan & Hilton.
