Recruitonomics recently launched and is a hub for talent acquisition research as it relates to the economy. They “aim to make sense of our evolving world of work. Combining labor economics and recruitment best practices, Recruitonomics seeks to bring clarity to the chaos of a changing economic landscape.” Check out their featured stories, and be sure to subscribe to their email updates. 

Our friends at The Conference Board released data from their June Employment Trends Index, which showed a slight uptick from May. However, despite this small shift, experts at The Conference Board expect job growth to decelerate through the end of the year. 

An article from Fisher Investments provides perspective on the most recent Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) from the Labor Department and how it is (or isn’t) predictive of the economic outlook.
