CXR Recommends: Recruiters Recruiting

When we come across something that we think is genuinely helpful to the talent industry, we share it. When we have the opportunity to be involved in something that nearly instantly started helping hundreds of recruiters get back to work… we want to shout it from the rooftops! 

Coming together to help recruiters

Like many of you, we were involved in what felt like 78 video conferences a day in late March – all of them focused on some aspect of the COVID-19 Pandemic. One issue started to come up over and over again: the thousands of employees – and recruiters – that were being furloughed. We were so impressed by efforts like the Accelerated Hiring project from CVS Healthcare that spun up literally over a weekend to provide a place for furloughed employees to connect and find temporary work. 

We just couldn’t shake the idea that there was something we could do to help our own. We are fortunate to have a number of connections to many people in our talent space so we started reaching out to see if they too were distressed by the number of recruiters who were being furloughed every day. They were. And an idea was born. 


A collaboration of industry veterans from HR technology companies including CareerXroads, GR8 People, Consider, SmartRecruiters, PhenomPeople, Paiger, Lever, The Talent Board, and Red Branch Media, is a job aggregation platform. The site  scrapes and compiles available TA jobs from participating company career sites. It also draws from CXR members such as Nike, EY, Hilton, Marriott, United Airlines, Intuitive Surgical, CVS, Uber, and others. Talent professionals at these companies helped to architect the concept and have entrusted their employees’ to its success.

Why do we recommend it?

  • All participating employers are committed to providing excellent candidate experience and timely follow-up with candidates. 
  • It couldn’t be easier for participating employers to use since it automatically scrapes jobs and then sends people directly to tools already in place at each employer’s site to apply. 
  • Over 500 recruiters are already actively using it to put their skills to work where they are needed most. 

We’re proud to be part of this initiative but even if we weren’t involved, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. If you’re hiring recruiting talent or if you’re a furloughed recruiter – this is the site for you.
