CXR Recommends: Mary Meeker’s COVID-19 Analysis

Like many of you, we’ve been voraciously reading materials from trusted sources about the COVID-19 pandemic. At first, we were seeking guidance and ideas on how to prepare our workspace and our homes, how to manage in an environment of near constant change… ultimately how to cope. Now, we’ve shifted our attention to what comes next.

How do we begin to approach business as usual after the COVID-19 pandemic?

Enter Mary Meeker. Mary Meeker, is a very well-read and well-respected American venture capitalist and former Wall Street securities analyst who focuses much of her work on Internet and new technologies. She is arguably most famous for her annual Internet Trends Report published by Bond Capital which she founded.

Meeker’s April 17th report on “Our New World” is a must read. Filled with observable trends, this report is extremely useful as we look for insights to guide our future plans. It’s exactly the kind of content we recommend pushing out to team mates, bosses and clients as we all prepare for the new world we have to enter. While we are all still operating on conditions of uncertainty that could improve our bottom line or dash it to pieces, reasoned decisions are called for from every sector. The decisions businesses make today will have a tremendous impact on the people who work for them and the communities we all live and work in. It is, indeed, a new world.
