Over the summer, CXR’s Campus Recruiting community came together for two info-filled sessions. With campus recruiting in full swing, we’re sharing some of the highlights.
CXR member organizations Dell & Trane Technologies shared more about their fall recruiting plans. At Trane, they’ve begun to shift to a virtual recruiting platform that provides access to colleges and universities across the country and a greater talent pool. Dell is focusing on scale and building efficiencies, with an increased reliance on tech, including LinkedIn, WayUp, and Avature.
In the follow-up Campus Recruiting meeting, our members took the floor with their most pressing questions. On the table were questions about how to regionalize university recruiting, top swag for Gen Z, how and why to rank colleges, and ways to increase brand awareness on campus.
We also had special guest Jeffrey Moss with Parker Dewey who shared research insights into what students are seeking from organizations. Emerging from the height of the pandemic, they are “hungry to build authentic relationships and gain real insights.” Paid internships, micro-internships, and resume reviews are among the popular options.
